Winzler & Kelly conducted specification design of hazardous building materials abatement and contaminated / hazardous soil removal / management and conducted environmental oversight, testing, and consulting services prior to, during and after hazardous building materials abatement and implosion activities at the Hotel San Diego located at 330 West Broadway in the City and County of San Diego, CA.
Work included but not limited to:
§ Reviewing and approving the specification design and site-specific health and safety plan for hazardous building materials abatement and contaminated / hazardous soil removal / management
§ Environmental oversight, testing, and consulting services associated with hazardous building materials abatement oversight of asbestos-containing materials, lead-based paint, mold, animal feces, and universal wastes
§ Contractor observation and oversight prior to, during, and after hazardous building materials abatement
§ Air and dust monitoring prior to, during, and after hazardous building materials abatement and implosion activities
§ Environmental air clearance sampling and analysis
§ Project meeting attendance and associated project management during the course of environmental-related activities.
A closeout report was provided at the conclusion of all environmental and oversight, testing, and consulting activities, recording means and methods employed, dates of work, copies of relevant project forms and documentation, and a summary of all sampling data collected prior to, during, and upon completion of hazardous material abatement and soil removal / management oversight activities.
